Die Technologieentwicklung & Simulation im Center of Excellence (CoE) Battery gestaltet zukünftige Batterietechnologien in allen Komponenten - von der Batteriezelle über Elektrik/Elektronik bis zum kompletten Batteriesystem. Darüber hinaus bündelt die Technologieentwicklung alle Simulationsumfänge und Methoden- als auch Vorentwicklungskompetenzen im CoE Battery. Dazu zählen neben der Entwicklung von Technologieprojekten und Konzepten auch die Entwicklung von Methodiken zur Absicherung des Zellverhaltens sowie des Stacks im Batteriesystem. Mögliche Aufgaben dieser Rolle
  • Designen, Durchführen und Analysieren von Propagationstests in unterschiedlichen Verspannsituationen im Einzelzell- und Multizellsetup
  • Charakterisieren der Abweichungen im Propagationsverhalten von Einzell- zu Multizellsetup und Prädiktion des Multizell- bzw. Stackverhaltens in Bezug zur Systemumgebung
  • Abgleichen der Ergebnisse der Propagationsuntersuchungen und -eigenschaften mit anderen integrationsrelevanten Themen wie Swelling-, Crash und Alterungsverhalten
  • Charakterisieren und Untersuchen von Zellzwischenmaterialkonzepten mit Materialuntersuchungen
  • Zusammenfassen und Bewerten möglicher Notmechanismen für thermische Propagation

Das endgültige Promotionsthema wird mit der Professorin / dem Professor gemeinsam definiert. Die Voraussetzung für die Zusammenarbeit ist die Betreuungszusage sowie eine bestätigte Themenabgrenzung seitens der Professorin / des Professors einer promotionsberechtigten Universität oder Forschungseinrichtung.

Anforderungen an die Qualifikation
  • Gut bis sehr gut abgeschlossenes Hochschulstudium mit Promotionsberechtigung im naturwissenschaftlichem Bereich
  • Grundkenntnisse in der TP/TR Vorgängen in Li-Ionen Batteriezellen und in der wissenschaftlichen Methodenentwicklung
  • Hohe Eigeninitiative bei der Durchführung von wissenschaftlichen Arbeiten
  • Analytisches und strukturiertes Denken
  • Kommunikations- und Teamfähigkeit
  • Deutsch und Englisch Sprachniveau B2
