Summary:

As a Student Assistant in our Supply Chain Management department, you will support operational procurement and process coordination activities to ensure smooth material flow and project execution. You will work closely with our supply chain, finance, and project teams and gain practical insights into international supply management processes.

Tasks:

  • Follow up on purchase orders, confirmations, and delivery dates

  • Track and extract KPIs related to order accuracy and on-time delivery

  • Verify incoming supplier invoices and match against orders and deliveries

  • Support approval routing and payment initiation

  • Determine required materials and components for ongoing projects

  • Coordinate information with project and technical team

  • Request quotations, compare pricing and terms

  • Assess suppliers based on value for money and delivery performance

Job requirements

  • Enrolled student in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or similar field

  • Strong analytical thinking and structured working style

  • Detail-oriented with high accuracy in handling data and documents

  • Good communication skills in German, English, and willingness to interact with suppliers and internal teams

  • Confident use of MS Office, especially Excel

  • Curiosity for procurement, logistics, and process improvement
