Accelerate Emidat's growth by building deep relationships with our prospects and consulting them from demo to closing
As our
Account Executive
(all genders), you will
drive revenue growth
by winning new customers and ensuring smooth handovers to our customer success team. We are searching for a talented salesperson with at least three years of full-time experience who loves actively approaching people, building trusted relationships and closing deals.
We are looking for
trusted advisors
for our prospects – think of yourself as a "consultants paid by Emidat". You will develop deep expertise in lifecycle assessments (LCAs) and the building materials industry, which your prospects can rely on.
You will be supported by an exceptional business development team and mentors such as Mathias, who built the revenue engine at the German unicorn Forto. You will fine-tune our revenue engine (testing hypotheses and fine-tuning our ICP, persona and jobs-to-be-done). With this, you will

Your challenge:
Joining our business development team involves:
- Customer Pipeline Development:
Build and nurture our customer pipeline, from demo to deal closing and maintaining long-term relationships with prospects. - Go-to-Market Strategy:
Develop and fine-tune our go-to-market strategy, ensuring alignment with our company objectives. - Team Building
: Play a key role in building and growing the sales team leading us to an annual 10x growth. - Revenue Operations:
Utilise analytics to track and understand sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and optimisation.
--- Your first 3 months at Emidat (exemplary) ---
Any Emidavinci starts with a detailed 3-month OKR sheet, which helps to build clarity and accountability from day 1. This is only a high-level overview how this can look like as a Sales Development Executive, but you will find many of the points on your 3-month list in your first week again.
Deeply understand our customer and market
- Calling and Discovery Mastery
: Conduct at least 500 outbound calls and 20 discovery calls to deeply understand customer pain points and refine sales messaging. - Demo Shadowing
: Shadow at least 10 demos to learn how we close deals. - Demos and Contracting
: Take over demo responsibility by month two, conduct at least 10 demos (supported by our team) and write your first contracts. - Deal Closing:
Start hitting your quota in month 3 (ramp-up: 0% → 30% → 80% → 100%).
Build and optimise the sales engine from demo to deal closing
- Improve Demo Process
: Use your demos to refine messaging and improve conversion rates from demo to proposal. - Market Feedback Loop
: Document and share market feedback from calls and demos to refine our go-to-market strategy (jobs-to-be-done sheet, industry vertical knowledge etc.)
Support and help scale the sales team
- Onboarding Improvement
: Streamline onboarding for future Account Executives by commenting on and improving our onboarding material. - Hiring Support
: Assist in the hiring process for 1 new SDR or AE, including reviewing candidates and conducting initial interviews.
Build personal expertise and relationships within the target market
- Industry Relationships
: Build relationships with key decision-makers in the construction, real estate, or sustainability space. - Market Knowledge
: Help the content team to build at least 3 relevant content pieces (articles/videos) using your built knowledge. - Conference Representation
: Attend at least 2 industry events to network and represent Emidat.

3+ years of experience in business development, growth or sales with a proven history of exceeding targets (ideally in a startup or scale-up environment). - Educational Background
: Master's degree or equivalent academic experience. - Language Skills:
Fluent in English and ideally German (additional languages are a plus).
