Zu den Aufgaben gehören
  • Adhering to and ensuring legal compliance in the area of chemicals law
  • Working according to the principles of product stewardship in the area of food contact materials, toys and cosmetics etc.
  • Ensuring compliance with the product safety and sustainability requirements arising from law and regulations and Grolman standards
  • Ensuring compliance with various export regulations
  • Plausibility check of safety data sheets
  • Product notifications according to § 45 CLP-VO as well as notifications in national product registers
  • Sound knowledge in the application of the GHS/CLP regulation
  • Ensuring EU-REACH and non-EU REACH (e.g. KKDIK, UK-REACH) compliance of products as well as supervision of the company's own EU and non-EU REACH registrations
  • Close collaboration with management
  • Close communication with colleagues throughout the Grolman Group
  • Organizing and conducting the required training for employees in the area of chemicals legislation
  • Support and supervision of subsidiaries in complying with national chemical regulatory requirements
Das bringen Sie mit
  • Completed scientific studies or comparable scientific education with professional experience
  • Advanced knowledge of regulatory and legal frameworks and very good knowledge of relevant standards and laws
  • Sound knowledge of national, European and international chemical law (REACH, GHS/CLP, food law requirements; Toy Directive; export law regulations etc.)
  • Experience in the field of cosmetics law would be of advantage
  • Ideally experience with digitalization of regulatory processes and willing to improve the efficiency of existing processes
  • Fluent in written and spoken English; additional language skills desirable
  • Proactive, analytical and problem-solving approach to work
  • Very good communication and team skills as well as good assertiveness, good organizational skills
  • High degree of initiative and responsibility, healthy level of curiosity
  • Service-oriented personality with a focus on internal collaboration
