The Opportunity

Reporting to Director HSN Planning, you will lead the Asset Planning Team and Upsell Planning Specialist. In this strategic Senior Manager role you will develop a strategic promotional calendar aligning promotions with the appropriate assets including On air and Off Air Event strategies, and Divisional level product category strategies. Manage end of life inventory in a thoughtful manner that maximizes company accounting strategies. Guide a upsell strategy that presents the customer with meaningful add to cart options. All viable talent must be willing to be local to HSN, Florida. While we are mostly remote we might go back into the office 1 day a week in the long term.

Your Impact

Digital Merchandise Allocation Planning

  • Oversee the Digital Merchandise Allocation Planning team, overseeing promotional strategy of Digital Platform offers.
  • Collaborate with Digital partners to identify and make recommendations on trends/opportunities within the business.
  • Maintain strategic partnership with the Digital team to blend and support off-air offers with on-air assets
  • Manage clearance markdown pace on identified distressed inventory

Asset Planning

  • Develop Whole House Promotion offers in consideration of platinum level events
  • Attend All-Play event meeting – communicating promotional support to cross functional teams.
  • Attend Digital Monthly Review meetings to inform promo calendars and align on support for Digital Events
  • Oversee Digital Picks process to ensure strength and quantity of items are selected promptly to support the digital strategy.

Upsell Management

  • Oversee the Upsell Specialist to achieve financial targets. Oversee financial recaps and analysis.
  • Review Annual Upsell Plan

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Retail/Fashion Merchandising, Mathematics or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 10 years business experience. Minimum 5 years managing/leading others, with preference for Finance, Merchandising, or Planning function.
  • Ability to quickly analyze data/situations and draw relevant conclusions to have positive effects on business in a complex environment.
  • Ability to lead team and have strong drive for project management and strategy work.
