To help support our future growth as an agency, we are looking for a German-speaking
Intern, Communications
& Talent Services (m/f/d) who will be based in the Munich office. This is a full-time (40 hours/week) 6-month fixed-term paid Internship starting January 5th, 2026.

Key Responsibilities

Karla Otto Munich is seeking a highly motivated Intern who will work closely with our experienced team to gain valuable hands-on experience in luxury communications. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has a passion for the luxury industry, and is eager to contribute to a fast-paced international environment while developing their professional skills.

The successful candidate will support various aspects of our Communications and Talent Services operations, from media monitoring and client reporting to presentation development and event support. This role offers an excellent opportunity to build a foundation in luxury communications while working with high-profile clients in a dynamic agency setting.

Amongst others, the key responsibilities of this role include:

• Support the creation of presentations, concepts, client reporting, press releases, and mailings
• Undertake comprehensive media monitoring across newspapers, magazines, digital and social media
• Compile and analyze editorial clippings and share coverage reports with clients
• Assist in developing client reports on weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis
• Support the sample management process, including booking-in procedures at the beginning of and throughout the season
• Monitor and control the movement of all client samples internally
• Assist in hosting clients and partners at meetings and support event management
• Work collaboratively with the entire communications team while reporting to a designated line manager
• Support your team in all aspects of influencer and talent collaborations, including sourcing, content review, product seeding, and performance tracking.
• Support the agency's communications initiatives and contribute to internal projects
• Assist with administrative tasks that contribute to the smooth operation of the department

Key Attributes

• Previous working experience, ideally in a comparable luxury communications environment
• Keen interest in lifestyle, luxury, and related communications strategies as well as influencers, KOLs, creators, particularly within the DACH and wider European markets.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Self-motivated professional capable of working toward deadlines and taking ownership of specific projects
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and relevant digital tools
• Professional and friendly demeanor with resilience and humor, especially under pressure
• Excellent communication skills in both German and English
• Comfort working in a diverse, international environment
• Proactive approach with a problem-solving mindset and hands-on attitude
