Deine Rolle
Als IT Infrastructure Engineer im Bereich IT Operations bist du Teil eines globalen, kollaborativen Teams. Du planst, implementierst und betreibst IT-Infrastrukturlösungen mit starkem Fokus auf Sicherheit, Stabilität und Performance – sowohl in Cloud- als auch in On-Prem-Umgebungen.

Deine Arbeit bildet das Rückgrat unserer digitalen Systeme – und trägt unmittelbar dazu bei, dass unsere Infrastruktur zuverlässig läuft und geschützt ist. • Deine Aufgaben

Du bist verantwortlich für eine sichere, moderne und leistungsfähige IT-Infrastruktur – vom Server bis zur Cloud.

Dein Aufgabenbereich Umfasst U. a.

• Aufbau, Betrieb und Wartung von Infrastruktur-Lösungen in den Bereichen Server, Netzwerk, Storage und Virtualisierung
• Verwaltung und Weiterentwicklung unserer Microsoft 365-Umgebung inkl. Teams und Benutzer-Workspaces
• Erstellung und Pflege technischer Dokumentationen und Architekturübersichten
• Umsetzung und Optimierung von IT-Sicherheitsmaßnahmen zur Erhöhung der Systemresilienz und Compliance
• Arbeiten nach unseren hohen Standards für Gesundheit, Sicherheit und Umwelt

Dein Profil
Du bist eine serviceorientierte Persönlichkeit mit fundiertem technischen Know-how und einem klaren Blick für Sicherheit und Effizienz. Du arbeitest strukturiert, denkst voraus und möchtest aktiv zur Weiterentwicklung unserer Systeme beitragen.

Was Du Mitbringen Solltest

• Mehrjährige Erfahrung in der Betreuung hybrider IT-Infrastrukturen (On-Prem & Cloud)
• Fundierte Kenntnisse in der Server- und Netzwerkadministration
• Erfahrung in der Administration von Microsoft 365
• Ausgeprägte Analyse- und Problemlösungskompetenz
• Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse und Freude an internationaler Zusammenarbeit

Your position
In your new position as
IT Infrastructure Engineer
in the
IT Operations
division, you will be a key member of a global and collaborative team, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and efficient IT infrastructure. You will be working across both cloud and on-prem environments, with a strong focus on security and operational reliability. Your work will directly support Semco Maritime's digital foundation and contribute to the safety and performance of our infrastructure systems.

At Semco Maritime, safety is a core value, and in this role, you will contribute to maintaining and promoting a strong security culture while supporting reliable and secure digital operations. Above all, your work will make a real change for the global energy sector.

Your place of work will be in Emden or Bremen, with regular coverage of sites in Hamburg, Emden, Bremen, Borkum, and other locations in northern Germany. The position is full-time.

Your Tasks & Responsibilities
As an
IT Infrastructure Engineer
, you will be responsible for the implementation and operation of secure, high-performance IT infrastructure.

Your Tasks Will Include But Are Not Limited To

• Implementing and maintaining infrastructure solutions across servers, networks, storage, and virtualization
• Managing the Microsoft 365 environment, including Teams, and supporting user workspaces
• Developing infrastructure documentation and architecture overviews
• Applying and improving IT security measures to ensure compliance and resilience
• Supporting and adhering to health, safety, and environmental standards in all activities

Your Profile & Qualifications
We are looking for an outgoing and service-oriented IT professional who is passionate about operations and eager to make a difference. You have a proactive and structured approach to your work and are committed to optimizing systems and user experiences.

To succeed in this position, we imagine that you have:

• Several years of experience in hybrid IT infrastructure management (on-prem and cloud)
• Proven experience with server and network administration
• Practical experience with Microsoft 365 administration
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Fluency in English and excellent communication skills
