We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented
Procurement Manager
to lead IT services procurement for a key client in the software industry. Based in Frakfurt, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement life cycle, ensuring optimal vendor performance, cost efficiency, and alignment with the client's technology road-map.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Sourcing & Vendor Management

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for IT services including software development, cloud services, managed services, and consulting.

  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors to ensure best value and service quality.
  • Manage supplier relationships and performance through KPIs and SLAs.

  • Contract & Risk Management

  • Lead contract negotiations, renewals, and compliance reviews.

  • Ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and client-specific procurement policies.
  • Mitigate risks related to data security, service continuity, and vendor reliability.

  • Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with client stakeholders including IT, finance, and legal teams to understand requirements and align procurement strategies.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to the client, providing market insights and procurement best practices.

  • Cost Optimisation & Reporting

  • Drive cost savings initiatives and value creation through strategic procurement.

  • Maintain accurate procurement records and provide regular reporting on spend, savings, and supplier performance.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, IT, or related field; Master's preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT procurement, ideally within the software or technology sector.
  • Strong understanding of IT service categories and vendor ecosystems.
  • Proven negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Fluent in English; German language proficiency is a strong advantage.
  • Experience working in a client-facing or consultancy role is desirable.
