Overview:

The Commissioning Manager is responsible for managing and executing the full commissioning process for data centre projects, ensuring all systems are tested, validated, and handed over in line with client requirements and project specifications. This role involves close coordination with design, construction, and operations teams to deliver a fully functional and reliable facility.

Key Responsibilities:


• Plan, manage, and oversee all commissioning activities from Level 1 to Level 5.


• Develop and implement the commissioning schedule, test procedures, and documentation.


• Lead commissioning meetings, coordinate stakeholders, and track progress against milestones.


• Supervise commissioning engineers, contractors, and vendors to ensure compliance with project standards.


• Review and approve commissioning documentation, test scripts, and reports.


• Manage punch lists, issue resolution, and system turnover to operations.


• Ensure all systems — electrical, mechanical, controls, and life safety — are tested and validated.


• Maintain strong communication with the client and project team to ensure expectations are met.

Requirements:


• Proven experience in commissioning large-scale data centres or mission-critical facilities.


• Strong technical understanding of MEP systems, BMS, and controls integration.


• Excellent organisational and leadership skills.


• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.


• Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification preferred.
