Design at sevdesk

sevdesk's Design Team is a multidisciplinary team of 15+ talented Product Designers, UX Researchers, Brand and Marketing Designers. Most Product Designers are distributed across cross-functional teams, looking after various problem spaces, from onboarding to filing taxes. We're a mostly remote team, spread between Berlin and Offenburg (Schwarzwald ), and we make sure to come together regularly to collaborate, learn, and have fun in person.

About the Role:

Design the end-to-end experience for Quotes & Invoices — the most-used feature set across our customers, and often the very first thing new users play with when trying out sevdesk.

Join a passionate, insight-driven team to redefine how our customers make money. From tools to craft quotes that help customers win contracts to designing invoicing flows and micro interactions that make getting paid fast and easy.

This role focuses on designing for responsive web, in close partnership with our mobile and brand designers, and supported by experienced researchers and analysts.

What you'll do

• Lead design for the area of Quotes & Invoices as part of a product trio, made up of an experienced Product Manager, Engineering Manager and yourself
• Partner closely with Product Managers, Researchers and other Designers to understand our customers' needs and pain points to design, test and iterate on delightful solutions that drive the metrics for your area
• Leverage and contribute to Offenburg Design System, ensuring that solutions align with the broader product experience and moving us towards our evolving design vision

What you'll need

• 3+ years of experience designing digital products, and a degree in Interaction, Communication, or a related Design field
• Strong UX and visual design skills, translating qualitative and quantitative insights into thoughtful, high-quality product experiences
• Good understanding of how design decisions influence user behavior and business outcomes, with curiosity to learn much more
• Collaborative way of working with other designers, researchers, and cross-functional partners such as Product Managers, Engineers, Data Scientists, and Marketing partners
• Clear communication and openness to feedback, with a desire to learn and grow as part of a team
• Ready to apply AI to accelerate design discovery, prototyping and validation
• Interest in entrepreneurship and fluency in German will help you deeply connect with the business owners who use sevdesk across many industries
