Water Consultant

Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments of existing water supply systems, including infrastructure, source reliability, and service coverage.
- Lead the design and evaluation of water supply and sanitation projects, ensuring technical soundness and environmental sustainability.
- Analyze hydrological, hydrogeological, and climatic data to support integrated water resource management (IWRM).
- Identify investment needs and develop feasibility studies, cost estimates, and technical specifications.
- Support stakeholder consultations and capacity-building workshops with government institutions, communities, and development partners.
- Integrate climate change adaptation and resilience principles into project design and water management planning.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, concept notes, and recommendations aligned with national water policies and standards.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (environmental, social, and financial experts) to ensure project coherence and compliance.
Requirements:
- Advanced degree (MSc or PhD) in Civil Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of
years of professional experience
in water supply, hydrology, or water resource management projects.
