Investment Analyst or Investment Associate (1-3 Years experience)

The Role:
As part of a small and active team, you'll span manager research, due diligence, portfolio monitoring, and asset-allocation support. As part of the Investment Committee (IC), you'll help prepare investment materials and contribute to portfolio construction for a multi-asset mandate with focus on Alternatives. The role includes international exposure and travel to manager on-sites, conferences, and AGMs.
What You Will Do:
• Manager Research & Due Diligence: Source and evaluate managers across asset classes; build theses; perform qualitative and quantitative analysis; draft investment memos.
• Portfolio Monitoring: Track performance, exposures, liquidity, and risk; maintain dashboards; identify drivers of return and drawdowns.
• Market & Thematic Research: Produce concise notes on markets, sectors, and strategies; maintain a forward pipeline of opportunities.
• IC Materials & Communication: Prepare decision-ready materials and present findings to senior team members. As an IC member, you will participate in every investment decision, with voting rights, making you an integral part of the investment decision-making process.
• Data & Process: Improve data quality and workflows; use common tools (Excel/PowerPoint; familiarity with Bloomberg /PitchBook or RMS like Bipsync is a plus).
What We're Looking For:
• At least 1–3 years' experience in a relevant financial services role (e.g., family office, endowment/foundation, pension fund, MFO, OCIO, fund-of-funds, investment banking, or investment consulting). Asset-class focus is open.
• Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, and an owner mindset.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to synthesize complex topics succinctly.
• Fluency in English and German.
• Demonstrated excellence and integrity in academic and/or professional track record (e.g., strong grades, awards/scholarships, demanding internships or stretch roles; high ethical standards).
