Manufacturing Excellence Manager (d/f/m)

About the Role

The Manufacturing Excellence Manager (Region) supports multiple sites within a region or Business Unit by building capabilities, developing people, and implementing BU strategies or the Manufacturing Excellence roadmap. The role drives progress at both site and BU level, coaching Site Management and Operations Leaders. It provides hands-on support for roadmap enablers, monitors implementation quality, addresses gaps, and facilitates root cause analysis. The manager promotes standardization, shares best practices, and ensures continuous improvement across sites.

What You Will Do 

  • Coach Site Managers and Operations Leaders on the implementation of Manufacturing Excellence standards and programs

  • Support the definition of the Compelling Business Need (CBN) and the review of the Site Master Plan

  • Ensure Plant Leadership Team (PLT) members have the necessary continuous improvement knowledge to deliver the Site Master Plan

  • Transfer knowledge and act as a reference point for continuous improvement across assigned sites

  • Conduct health checks, ensure compliance, and benchmark best practices between sites

  • Promote a culture of trust, open communication, and feedback within the region

Who You Are 

  • Bachelor's or university degree in process or production engineering

  • 5–7 years of experience in supply chain or manufacturing

  • Strong understanding of safety, quality, and manufacturing processes and standards

  • Proven experience in implementing high-performing work systems (e.g., TPM, Lean, 20 Keys)

  • Safety awareness and conflict management & Leadership and influencing skills

  • Effective communication and presentation skills
