Work Environment

Modern, high-quality automobiles are characterized by high safety, economy, comfort and the associated connected information and consumer electronics. To ensure product quality in the automotive engineering today and in the future has become an important factor.

To enable this quality the area of electrical/electronic production is the interface between the technical development and assembly in production. The tasks include the bundling of electrical/electronic activities of the production division for the Audi brand group.

In the Department of Development and Integration vehicle commissioning software, program sequences are developed, created and tested. These serve the modern vehicle electronics in the series efficiently in operation and check the functionality.

Job Purpose/Role

The aim of the internship is to get an insight on the very interesting and interdisciplinary field of electrics/electronics on the perspective of producing current vehicles.

You can expect the following content:

  • You will get the opportunity to share your knowledge and experience as a adequate team member and contribute to company-relevant projects
  • You will cooperate in the conception, implementation and introduction of a new vehicle project in production
  • You will get to know practical methods for the agile development of high-quality

software
- You will independently develop program modules (JAVA) that are used in the commissioning software to be used for the production of state-of-the-art Audi vehicles
- You will design tools to support production processes in close coordination with the users
- The verification on vehicles is one of your base tasks

Key Requirements/Skills/Experience

  • You are currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation Technology, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or a comparable field of study
  • You have a strong interest in vehicle electronics and software development
  • You possess knowledge in electronics and IT, as well as basic skills in at least one programming language
  • You work independently, responsibly, and with a solution-oriented mindset
  • You demonstrate strong teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills
  • You are enthusiastic about new technologies, digitalization, and agile working methods

The final internship period will be agreed upon in consultation with the department.
