We are seeking a Web Developer (React, TypeScript, HTML5 & CSS3 ) (M/F/D) for our client, SOFHA, a Berlin-based software company with over 40 years of expertise in high-performance image processing for the professional printing industry.

SOFHA Work with leading printer manufacturers, especially in Japan, to create smart print workflow solutions using industry standards like Adobe PostScript, Adobe PDF Print Engine, and JDF/JMF. The software runs on Linux, and the design user interfaces for Windows, macOS, and web applications. With a team of around 50 international professionals, they offer a collaborative culture, flexible work arrangements, and continuous learning opportunities.

Tasks
  • Software design based on specified requirements;
  • Implementation of a secure web application for printer management and print-job management;
  • Performing Code Reviews for other web developer;
  • Writing of technical concepts and effort estimation;
  • Code documentation;
  • Develop simulators and mock-ups for test automation to mimic system components of high-speed, high-quality, professional printers.
  • Implementation/integration into our existing single-page web application using JavaScript and Visual Code;

Requirements
  • Very good knowledge of React, TypeScript, HTML5 and CSS3;
  • Experience with Vite, React Query and Zustand;
  • Familiar with Material UI and theme-able components;
  • Confident in using Git, npm workspaces/monorepo setups and Node-js tooling;
  • Understanding of modular architecture, component design, software design patterns and reactive rendering;
  • Experience with GitLab and CI/CD.

Nice to have:

  • Good knowledge of Angular 14+ and AngularJS;
  • Good knowledge of HTML/CSS;
  • Excellent knowledge of common software-UX-design-patterns.
