If you're the sort of engineer who likes hiding behind endless documentation or sitting miles away from the shopfloor, this isn't for you.

We need someone who actually enjoys the noise, the pace and the pressure of real production. Someone who knows how MES really works when machines stop behaving and data doesn't flow the way the PowerPoint said it would.

What you'll be doing


• Getting hands-on with big MES programmes, not just observing from afar


• Turning messy shopfloor needs into clean technical direction


• Making deployments run smoothly instead of magically hoping they will


• Working shoulder-to-shoulder with architects and production teams


• Keeping systems reliable, secure and fast even when things get chaotic

What you need


• 4-8+ years in manufacturing ideally aerospace


• Real MES experience and confidence on an IT-enabled shopfloor


• Strong understanding of PLC, SCADA, OPC and machine integration


• Familiarity with SAP modules that actually matter on the ground


• German at B2 level or above


• Must hold German PR or citizenship


• Willing to be onsite in Hamburg, Bremen or Augsburg


• Happy to travel and even happier to solve problems in person
