In einem Teil unseres Social Dating & Video-Segments setzen wir auf eine hochwertige Echtzeit-Videoplattform - und deine Aufgabe als Site Reliability Engineer (all genders) ist es, diese schnell, stabil und skalierbar zu halten. Gemeinsam mit unseren vorwiegend US-basierten Kolleg:innen (Ostküste) aus den Bereichen Backend, Infrastruktur und Video arbeitest du daran, unsere Streaming-Systeme auf AWS-Basis zu betreiben und kontinuierlich zu verbessern. Dein Beitrag sorgt dafür, dass tausende Nutzer:innen unserer Marken täglich zuverlässige Live-Erlebnisse mit niedriger Latenz genießen können.

Was du unbedingt mitbringst  
  • Mehrjährige Erfahrung im Betrieb latenzsensitiver und stark frequentierter Produktivsysteme – idealerweise im Video- oder Streaming-Umfeld.
  • Fundierte Kenntnisse in AWS-Infrastruktur (insbesondere ECS, CloudFormation/CDK, Terraform).
  • Sehr gute Scripting- und Automatisierungskompetenz mit Bash, Python oder TypeScript.
  • Praktische Erfahrung mit Docker sowie CI/CD-Tools wie GitHub Actions und Jenkins.
  • Gutes Verständnis von RabbitMQ, Redis, MySQL und PostgreSQL.
  • Vertrautheit mit Software-Stacks auf Basis von Java und
Was du idealwerweise noch mitbringst
  • Tiefgehende Kenntnisse in GitHub Actions, CDK und TypeScript.
  • Erfahrung mit Monitoring- und Observability-Tools (z. B. Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Sentry).
  • Verständnis von CDN-Architekturen und Edge Delivery.
  • Know-how zu Streaming-Protokollen wie RTMP, HLS oder WebRTC.
  • Erfahrung in agilen Produktteams (Scrum) und mit DevOps-Methoden.
Was dich erwartet 
  • Verantwortung für die Zuverlässigkeit und Performance unserer Live-Video-Infrastruktur.
  • Echtzeit-Monitoring, aktives Troubleshooting und kontinuierliche Optimierung der Streaming-Stabilität.
  • Entwicklung von Automatisierungstools, die Deployments, Monitoring und Failover-Prozesse vereinfachen.
  • Enge Zusammenarbeit mit Backend- und Video-Engineering-Teams zur Entwicklung skalierbarer und fehlertoleranter Systeme.
  • Beteiligung an Postmortems sowie an der Definition und Verbesserung von SLAs und SLOs.
  • Einstieg in die On-Call-Rotation nach einer fundierten Einarbeitung.
