Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced
Global Sourcing Manager
to be based in Germany to strengthen BEGO's global supply chain and procurement network. The ideal candidate will manage sourcing projects across the EU, develop reliable supplier resources, support product localization, and serve as the bridge between our China headquarters and European business partners.

This role is critical as BEGO expands its presence in the European market, especially within retail chains, supermarket channels, and seasonal consumer electronics categories.

Key Responsibilities
1. Supplier Development & Management

  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers across Europe (components, packaging, accessories, logistics solutions, etc.).
  • Conduct supplier audits, capability assessments, compliance checks, and cost analyses.
  • Maintain long-term relationships with selected suppliers to ensure stable supply and competitive pricing.

2. Purchasing & Cost Optimization

  • Lead negotiation on price, MOQ, payment terms, and contract conditions.
  • Analyze BOM and product cost structures to support competitive quotations for key accounts (e.g., ALDI, Lidl, etc.).
  • Monitor market trends, material price fluctuations, and cost-saving opportunities.

3. Project Management

  • Coordinate with BEGO China teams on new product development, technical requirements, and supplier integration.
  • Manage sample development, timelines, and provide feedback on product performance and EU compliance needs.
  • Support EU localization requirements (e.g., packaging, manuals, certification partners like TÜV / Intertek).

4. Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure sourced materials and suppliers meet EU quality, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Work with QC teams on issue resolution, corrective actions, and continuous improvement.
  • Assist with REACH, RoHS, ERP, WEEE, and energy efficiency regulation alignment.

5. Supply Chain Coordination

  • Optimize logistics suppliers and support Europe-based distribution/warehouse resource evaluation.
  • Ensure smooth communication between EU partners and the China supply chain team.
  • Provide regular market intelligence reports on supplier performance and category trends.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Supply Chain, International Business, Engineering, or related fields.
  • 3–5+ years of sourcing or supply chain experience
    , preferably in consumer electronics, small home appliances, or retail supply.
  • Strong understanding of EU supplier ecosystem and procurement standards.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
  • Familiar with EU compliance requirements and quality standards.
  • Able to travel within Europe and occasionally to China headquarters.
  • Language:
    Fluent English is required
    ; German or Chinese is a strong plus.
