Your profile
  • Successfully completed studies in the field of taxation/finance
  • 3-5 years of experience in the tax environment after studying, preferably in a tax agency
  • Experience with common ERP systems  
  • Good knowledge of German tax regulations
  • Experience with German tax groups and transfer pricing 
  • Independent, structured and goal-oriented way of working and ability to work in a team 
  • Resilient and able to manage multiple stakeholders
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to take initiative, set priorities and manage multiple concurrent work streams
  • Ability to communicate complex issues clearly and concisely
  • Willingness for continuous improvement and the ability to identify and implement process improvements
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a hands-on attitude
  • Excellent knowledge of German language and fluent English

Your Responsibilities

We are looking for a new colleague to join our Finance/Accounting Team in Berlin full-time/40 hours a week starting as soon as possible.

Key Activities & Responsibilities:

  • Advise accounting team on tax matters e.g. reverse charge 
  • Manage tax audits 
  • Implement tax compliance environment 
  • Evaluation of tax saving opportunities with management & tax advisors 
  • Support the implementation and documentation of TP regulations 
  • Prepare monthly VAT returns  
  • Supporting projects e.g. M&A 
  • Improving systems & tax processes 
  • Main contact for tax advisors
