Position Summary

The Embedded Hardware Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and testing electronic circuits and hardware systems for company products.

This role involves schematic design, PCB layout collaboration, component selection, prototyping, and validation to ensure reliable and efficient hardware performance.

The engineer works closely with embedded developers, mechanical engineers, and production teams to deliver high-quality and cost-effective electronic solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design analog and digital circuits and create schematics in 
    Altium Designer
     or 
    KiCad
    .
  • Select components and support PCB layout for manufacturability and signal integrity.
  • Develop and document 
    cable harnesses
     and wiring solutions.
  • Build and test prototypes; troubleshoot hardware issues.
  • Perform simulations and basic analyses (power, SI, EMC/EMI).
  • Prepare documentation, BOMs, and manage revisions.
  • Work with manufacturers: evaluate capabilities and negotiate production-related topics.
  • Collaborate with firmware and system teams during hardware testing.

Requirements

  • 2–5+ years of experience in hardware or circuit design.
  • Strong knowledge of analog/digital electronics.
  • Proficiency in 
    Altium
     or 
    KiCad
    .
  • Experience with microcontrollers, sensors, power management, and interfaces (UART, SPI, I²C, CAN).
  • Understanding of SMT, PCB fabrication, and assembly.
  • Familiarity with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators).
  • Strong soldering skills (SMD + THT).
  • Ability to read datasheets and technical documentation in English.
  • Power electronics experience – advantage.
  • MCU programming skills – advantage.
