Your tasks

  • Plan, specify, and execute validation and verification activities for electrical/electronic automotive components and systems (e.g., ECUs, sensors, actuators, wiring harnesses)
  • Develop test strategies based on system requirements, DFMEA, and regulatory standards
  • Conduct functional, performance, environmental, and durability tests using test benches, HIL systems, and in-vehicle setups
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, data loggers, and climate chambers
  • Ensure compliance with automotive standards like ISO functional safety) and ASPICE
  • Analyze test results, identify deviations or failures, and document findings in validation reports
  • Collaborate with design, software, validation, and quality teams to resolve issues and enhance product robustness
  • Participate in design reviews and support root cause analysis for field returns or test failures
  • Improve test automation, methodologies, and infrastructure continuously.
  • Maintain traceability by creating and updating test plans, coverage matrices, and documentation

Your profile

  • Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
  • Several years of experience in testing and integration of E/E systems within the automotive industry
  • Solid hands-on experience with test methods and tools such as Vector CANoe/CANalyzer, LabVIEW, MATLAB, Python, CAPL
  • Strong knowledge of in-vehicle networks (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Automotive Ethernet) and diagnostic protocols (UDS, OBD)
  • Familiarity with HIL systems like dSPACE, NI, or ETAS
  • Understanding of ISO 26262 and safety-critical system development
  • Experience with system-level software and hardware integration testing
  • Ability to read schematics, analyze signals, and troubleshoot complex system interactions
  • Experience with EVs, battery systems, or power electronics is a plus
  • Prototype driving license (e.g., BMW E1 or S1) is a plus

The HOLON urban is a fully electric and autonomous vehicle for use on public roads. It is one of the world's first movers to meet automotive standards – leading the way in safety, ride comfort and production quality. The vehicle operates at a top speed of 60 kilometers / 37 miles per hour and can accommodate up to 15 passengers.

The HOLON urban is barrier-free and offers an automated ramp, a secured wheelchair space and auditory and visual support for passengers. In addition to conventional scheduled services, the mover is to be used as an on-demand means of transport in order to meet the mobility needs of users.
