Working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, you will help transform innovative concepts into fully realized, production-ready systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Electrical & Pneumatic Design: Develop detailed electrical and pneumatic circuit diagrams using EPLAN (or equivalent CAD tools) for complex machinery and automation systems.
  • Control Cabinet Design: Design and document control panels and cabinets, including component selection, wiring layouts, and integration of electrical and pneumatic systems.
  • Fluid & Pneumatic Schematics: Create and maintain P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams), ensuring accuracy, functionality, and compliance with relevant standards.
  • System Integration: Collaborate with mechanical, automation, and software engineers to achieve seamless integration of control systems.
  • Testing & Validation: Support machine assembly, commissioning, and troubleshooting to verify functionality, performance, and safety.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Ensure all designs and schematics meet internal quality standards, customer requirements, and applicable regulations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the advancement of electrical and control architectures through design optimization and the introduction of new technologies.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
  • Proven experience in electrical and pneumatic design for industrial machinery or automated systems.
  • Strong proficiency in EPLAN for electrical schematics and cabinet design.
  • Experience creating pneumatic and fluid control diagrams (P&IDs) and selecting appropriate components.
  • Understanding of PLC-based control systems, wiring standards, and automation interfaces.
  • Hands-on experience with system testing, troubleshooting, and validation.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills within cross-functional engineering environments.
  • Experience in machine building or high-precision equipment is highly advantageous.
