You will become part of a central actuarial function within a major international insurance group. The team is responsible for overseeing actuarial governance, ensuring adequate reserving across the organisation, and supporting the actuarial components of group‑wide performance management.
This role offers the opportunity to lead or contribute to strategic discussions at group level. You will work closely with senior leadership and local business units to ensure robust actuarial processes, high‑quality reserving, and strong technical standards.
How can you make an impact?
In this role, you will:
- Conduct actuarial reserve reviews for business units worldwide and present insights to senior management to support informed decision‑making
- Perform deep‑dive analyses into actuarial and portfolio data, identifying trends and generating actionable insights
- Streamline, modernise, and automate reserving and reporting processes using contemporary analytical and software tools
- Strengthen actuarial capabilities across the organisation, particularly in the adoption of new technologies
- Collaborate with stakeholders across headquarters and local entities to provide strategic and financial recommendations that influence key business outcomes
- Enhance governance standards within the actuarial function and promote best practice across all operating units
What do you bring?
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 5 years of actuarial experience in Property & Casualty insurance, ideally with a focus on reserving
- Fully or partially qualified actuary with a strong professional track record and membership in a recognised actuarial association
- Ideally hands on experience in working with AI and GenAI topics in insurance arena
- Excellent analytical skills and a solid technical foundation in P&C insurance
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with senior management
- Advanced skills in data analytics and programming (e.g., Power BI, Python)
