Key Responsibilities
- Understanding the customer needs and quality standards will be the key cornerstone of success for the GCBP.
- The GCBPs primary focus areas are customer satisfaction, service delivery, productivity as well as profitability.
- The GCBP is responsible in supporting the organization of transports in accordance with the compliance of Pharma and Healthcare accounts, taking into account the customer's quality standards.
- In order to provide this service, the GCBPs main responsibilities are:
- Translating the Pharma business quality requirements (GDP) into the organization and ensuring compliance with them internally
- Sparring partner of our global teams to improve our operational product offering to Pharma customers
- Conduct periodic reviews with customer(s) to ensure internal performance is reflected in customer satisfaction with support of the sales and local CX team
- Building up the operational relationship with our customers and advocates their needs internally
- Escalation point for the customer's global operation
- Become an 'Operational Excellence' ambassador and encourage operational staff to apply best practice
- Lead improvement and corrective projects and ensure the learnings are captured and distributed in Maersk
- Build strong relationships with Care Business Partners globally and identifies coaching opportunities to continuously drive local performance
- Ensures smooth execution of the end-to-end shipment cycle
Who We Are Looking For
- 5+ years relevant experience with a proven track record in operational management
- Understanding and passion for driving Operational Excellence in the business
- Ability to work in a matrix organization and influence decision makers
- Proven and sustained track record of delivery, with focus on driving results through others
- Experience of working with wide variety of complex operational and commercial challenges
- Exposure and understanding of Business Improvement / Lean tools
- Excellent communication and influence skills
- Ability to interface with local and regional management teams
- Being a team member supporting the global/regional/country teams proactively
- Ability to build strong effective network
- Experience with European GDP regulations is a plus.
