Manager of Closed Book Investments

Who will you join?

The Closed Book Investment team within the Global Center of Competence Life (GCL) manages Allianz SE's Viridium investment by partnering with internal and external experts and investors to ensure effective management and growth.

The team is responsible for briefing decision-makers, managing consortium relations, and building strong relationships with Viridium and all related parties. The team advises on life insurance matters for management and advisory board meetings, leveraging Allianz's deep industry expertise. Acting as a liaison for Allianz SE group centers, consortium investors, and Viridium, they prepare documentation and analyses for strategic oversight. The team focuses on supporting growth initiatives and achieving transparency and alignment in financial steering.

How can you make an impact?

You will:

• Support in developing and executing strategies that align with Allianz's Life objectives and maximize the value of the Viridium investment
• Act as the contact point between Allianz SE group centers, consortium investors, and Viridium, facilitating communication and strategic alignment
• Prepare and present strategic briefs to decision-makers, ensuring informed and timely choices
• Strengthen relationships with consortium investors
• Provide expert advice on life insurance matters
• Support preparation of documentation and analyses for strategic oversight, ensuring transparency and informed decision-making

What are you made of?

• Ability to effectively quickly understand complex information and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
• Eagerness and ability to learn about life insurance, adapting to new information and industry developments
• Competency in using Microsoft Office applications for documentation and analysis
• Excellent university degree and business experience in (Life) insurance
• Fluent in German and English; proficiency in an additional Allianz Group language (French) is preferred
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Previous experience in insurance or asset management business functions, consulting, digital / tech is a plus
• Experience applying ChatGPT, Generative AI, and Ethical AI solution
