This key role requires individuals of excellent calibre who are ready to take on the challenge of developing EEX's position in the Nordic power markets. 

Your tasks:

In this role you will work closely with customers, industry partners and regulators in the Nordic countries to further develop EEX's Nordic power business and increase the overall size of the Nordic power market.  You will represent EEX at conferences and industry events in the region. You will also assess market trends, identify growth opportunities in the region and stay up to date with regulatory developments in the Nordic energy market. Together with the team, you will develop innovative products and solutions and coordinate their successful market launch. Finally, we value the exchange of ideas, being there for each other and encouraging each other to be better. We call it the exchange mindset.

Your skills:

• The drive to take ownership and develop a market.
• Strong knowledge of energy commodity trading.
• Excellent contacts in the energy trading community, especially in Norway, Sweden and Finland.
• Proven professional experience, ideally in an exchange, broker, clearing house, bank, commodity trading house, utility trading desk or origination environment.
• Ideally with a background in the development of exchange-traded products.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Fluency in Norwegian or Swedish.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and to deadlines. 
• A good personality who can contribute positively to a good team spirit.
