We are building a new goldsmith department on our platform and therefore we are looking for a team leader. We are seeking for a highly skilled and experienced Person to oversee and manage our jewelry workshop team up to 5. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in jewelry making, excellent leadership and organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, managerial capabilities, and a proactive approach to team development and operational efficiency.
HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?
Responsibilities:
I. Team Management & Development:
Career Path Development: Guide and support the career development of team members, providing opportunities for growth and advancement.
Performance Management: Monitor individual and team performance against KPIs, providing regular feedback and addressing performance issues.
Technical Evaluation & Recruitment: Lead the technical evaluation process for new jewelry recruits.
Skills Assessment & Training: Develop and implement technical assessments for jewelers, create and deliver training programs to enhance their skills, and monitor their progress.
II. Workshop Operations & Efficiency:
Capacity Planning: Monitor workshop capacity and resource allocation to ensure efficient workflow.
Policy Adherence: Ensure compliance with all Maison policies and procedures within the workshop.
Procedure Development: Create and maintain operating procedures for the workshop, ensuring efficiency and consistency.
Workshop Organization: Maintain efficient workshop organization, adhering to regional standards and best practices.
Assign repairs (flow management)
III. Technical Expertise & Quality Control:
Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise and support to the team on repairs, machinery, tools, and process deployment.
Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure the highest standards of craftsmanship.
Product Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Maison novelties and provide training to the team.
V. Administration & Documentation:
Documentation Management: Maintain and share technical documentation.
Bench Test Assessment: Assess and coordinate bench tests, including logging and administrative tasks.
HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?
Extensive experience in jewelry making and repair, with proven technical expertise in Jewelry Techniques.
Proven experience in a team lead or supervisory role within a jewelry workshop environment.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
German and English language skills
