Product Owner/Full-Stack-Developer

As a joint venture of Daimler Truck AG and the Volvo Group AB, we are responsible for all activities along the entire value chain for fuel cell systems: from research and development to production and marketing for use in trucks and other applications outside vehicles. In IT, we are responsible for developing, operating, and providing the platform for digital steering of production and testing systems through our Process Orchestration Layer (POL). As a Product Owner, you will shape the future of this platform in close collaboration with the Plan2Fulfill Business Partner, the IT Architect, and the Production IT/OT Infrastructure Product Owner.

Responsibilities: 

•    You hold end-to-end responsibility for the POL platform – from development to operations in line with the DevOps approach.  

•    You are responsible for implementing production process requirements in our POL solution.  

•    You work on frontend and backend components for steering and operation.  

•    Your role includes both functional and technical alignment with Production IT/OT experts, IT architects, and the P2F Business Partner.  

•    You are responsible for integrating the POL into the IT production infrastructure.  

•    You contribute to the further development of the platform in the context of modern manufacturing processes.  

•    You bring your expertise into interdisciplinary project teams.  

•    You document and communicate technical solutions clearly and purposefully.

Experience and Qualification: 

•    You hold a university degree in Automation Engineering, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or Software Development.  

•    You have at least 3–5 years of professional experience in software development using C, JavaScript, or Go.  

•    Your strength lies in translating production process workflows into effective IT solutions.  

•    You have knowledge of the structure and functionality of production systems, fieldbus technologies, and safety systems.

•    You are a strong team player with excellent communication skills and a high level of initiative.
