Als Senior Manager Software Engineering bist du Teil unseres Management-Teams und treibst die Weiterentwicklung unserer Produkt- und Engineering-Organisation maßgeblich voran. Mit jedem neuen Produkt wächst unsere Struktur – und du sorgst dafür, dass Architektur, Prozesse und Teams optimal skalieren.

Responsibilities

Deine Aufgaben:

  • Du entwickelst eine cloud-basierte, sichere und gut getestete Software-Architektur (inkl. automatisierter Tests)
  • Du baust Engineering-Teams mit ca. 10 Entwickler*innen auf und führst sie fachlich und disziplinarisch
  • Du verantwortest Recruiting, Coaching, Mentoring und die individuelle Weiterentwicklung deiner Teammitglieder
  • Du treibst agile Softwareentwicklung aktiv voran und entwickelst unsere Engineering-Praktiken kontinuierlich weiter
  • Du etablierst eine Kultur von technischer Exzellenz, Wissensaustausch und Ownership
  • Du koordinierst die Zusammenarbeit mehrerer Teams im Rahmen einer domain-driven Architektur
  • Du bringst dich in technologische Diskussionen ein und gestaltest effiziente Entwicklungsprozesse (CI/CD, Testing, Operations)
  • Du bleibst hands-on und arbeitest gelegentlich selbst am Code mit
Qualifications

Das bringst Du mit:

  • Du hast umfassende Erfahrung in der Entwicklung hochskalierbarer Software-Produkte
  • Du bringst tiefes Verständnis für domain-driven Software-Architekturen mit
  • Du hast sehr gute Programmierkenntnisse in PHP und Laravel
  • Du legst großen Wert auf sauberen, wartbaren und qualitativ hochwertigen Code
  • Du arbeitest sicher mit Senior Stakeholdern bis hin zur C-Suite – technisch wie fachlich
  • Du hast bereits erfolgreich Engineering-Teams in dynamischen Umfeldern geführt und aufgebaut
  • Du denkst unternehmerisch und triffst Entscheidungen daten- und businessorientiert
  • Qualität, technische Exzellenz und messbare Ergebnisse sind für dich selbstverständlich

Nice to have

  • Erfahrung im Finance- oder Versicherungsumfeld
  • Erfahrung im Aufbau von SaaS-Lösungen oder SaaS-Plattformen
