EMEA Tax Manager, Strategic Tax & Controversy
We are looking for a highly talented and motivated Tax Manager to join our team in Wuppertal, Germany to support our EDS EMEA Tax Lead.

Your Role:

• Develop effective planning opportunities and controversy resolution strategies.
• Research complex (international) tax and transfer-pricing issues.
• Draft internal memos, analysis, and financial models.
• Translating data from a range of sources into insights and deliverables.
• Building effective long-term relationships with our business teams and external advisors.
• Communicating complex tax issues to our business teams, tax auditors, and courts.
• Interest in the technology automotive industry is a plus.

Your Background:- Minimum of 7 years of work experience, ideally 5-7 years' experience in a professional advisory tax organization (Big 4 or law firm is a plus). Specifically experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Tax Controversy matters, and / or
• International Tax,
• Transfer Pricing,
• Tax Accounting,
• Operating Model Efficiency, Value Chain Transformation, or similar global supply chain structuring teams a plus.
• A tax advisor or equivalent qualification is preferred but not essential
• Familiarity with US GAAP, IFRS, and statutory accounting standards a plus.
• A degree in law, finance, business administration, economics, accounting or similar is preferred.
• Ability and interest in global travel and operating in a fast paced environment.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in Germany.
• Demonstrated written and oral communication or presentation skill highly valued.
• Familiarity and ability to use excel, ppt, and word required; SAP awareness positive.
