The RDS R&D NPC (Near Patient Care) network develops diagnostic systems for measuring various physiological parameters in hospital and critical care settings. We deliver point-of-care solutions in coagulation monitoring, urinalysis, glucose management, cardiovascular care, and blood gas & electrolyte testing. Our multidisciplinary team of experts in engineering, physics, chemistry, biology, and laboratory science operates across six locations.

We are looking for a highly motivated intern to join our team Rotkreuz, Switzerland or in Mannheim, Germany. The successful candidate will support internal communications, sharing project progress within our network and with external stakeholders. This role also offers the opportunity to co-develop and implement future communication strategies for our projects.

• Driving and coordinating the department's internal marketing activities.

• Co-developing the communication concept for our projects as part of a larger NPC initiative.

• Creating and publishing content for the intranet web pages and internal social media. 

• Supporting and facilitating the creation of short videos, presentations, and infographics.

• Organizing internal events, campaigns, and department appearances at company internal fairs. 

• You are currently enrolled in or have recently graduated from a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.

• You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for creating engaging content for various digital platforms.

• You demonstrate strong organizational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

• You are proficient with digital tools, internal social media, and the Google Workspace suite.

• You have a creative mindset with experience in producing or promoting visual content like presentations, infographics, or videos

• You have a proactive, self-driven personality and the confidence to take initiative on new campaigns and activities.

• You have experience or a strong interest in planning and executing events, both virtual and in-person.

• You speak fluent English (German is a plus)
   

-Start date: January 2026
-Workload: 80-100%

-Duration: 6-12 months (preferably 12 months)

-Location: Rotkreuz or Mannheim
