About usAt GE Vernova Grid Solutions we are electrifying the world with advanced grid technologies.Erfahren Sie mehr über die täglichen Aufgaben, die allgemeinen Verantwortlichkeiten und die erforderliche Erfahrung für diese Gelegenheit, indem Sie jetzt nach unten scrollen.As leaders in the energy space our goal is to accelerate the transition for a more energy efficient grid to full fill the needs of tomorrow.With a focus on growth and sustainability GE Grid Solutions plays a pivotal role in integrating Renewables onto the grid to drive to carbon neutral.In Grid Solutions we help enable the transition for a greener more reliable Grid, while having the most advanced and comprehensive product and solutions portfolio within the energy sector.We are offering the significant role as "Commissioning Manager for HVDC systems” in the "Construction & Commissioning” function to participate in this energy transition for Central Europe.Join us and enjoy playing a major role to enhance the Central Europe Construction & Commissioning function with fresh ideas.The Commissioning Manager shall be responsible for leading all commissioning activities of defined HVDC projects under execution in GSI as per GE Quality, Construction & Commissioning & EHS Process and guidelines, provide critical commissioning cost related and other support to the bid management team for tenders in the region and will be fully responsible for coordination with customer representatives to ensure client compliance & satisfaction as per the contract.The position holder reports to the Regional Construction & Commissioning Leader.Permanent project site presence is required during execution phase- first in Stilow, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.TasksTender Phase (ITO):Coordinate costing and scheduling of commissioning activitiesDefine and implement the subcontracting strategy in alignment with EHS, Quality, Planning & SourcingPrepare tender documentation related to commissioningPlan and organize temporary and permanent site infrastructureActively contribute to the project team from early development through completionExecution Phase (OTR):Responsible for staffing, mobilization and tracking of site commissioning teamsPrepare and align the commissioning schedule with internal and external stakeholdersMonitor progress, quality and EHS performance according to GE standardsCollaborate closely with the engineering office for timely delivery of technical data and documentationPrepare and maintain commissioning documentation (ITPs, reports, non-conformance records)Lead an international team of commissioning engineers on-site for HVDC projectsProfileAn appropriate qualification in Electrical Engineering with several years of work experience would be advantageous but equivalent experience in Commissioning Management is also feasibleHave appropriate health and safety experience, trainings and qualifications in line with international standards for roles of this nature to be able to identify and stop unsafe worksPrevious experience of undertaking the role of Commissioning Manager on a large Substation Project.Experience for project execution in Asia would be an xgcbozq advantage but is not essentialHave previous experience in commissioning of key elements of the project including, but not limited to the followingHVDC valve system / High voltage switchgear (up to 400kV) /SCADA systems / Protection & Control /Grid connection interface works /Electrical HV safety rules & safe systems of workWill be required to travel frequently across the region and Asia to various project sites with presence on site during execution phaseFit for offshore missionsAbility to work remotely but integrate with the GE’s wider teamAbility to communicate effectively and to accurately and concisely report both verbally and in writingFluent in English, German would be a plusWe offerExtensive professional growth opportunities in an international and future-oriented environment in the Regional Construction and Commissioning TeamLong-term, permanent positionPleasant working atmosphere and corporate cultureA high degree of flexibility and independent workAppealing compensation package
