Due to year-on-year success, they are now looking for an experience professional with proven expertise to build up and bolster their security team, with the Information Security Officer role being their main focus.

**You will be responsible for**:

- The design and implementation of security concepts, policies and standards (based on the ISO/IEC 27001).
- The continuous development & implementation of the information security management system (ISMS).
- Contributing to the development of tools & processes.
- Carrying our risk assessments & monitoring security measures.
- Being the first point of contact for information security topics within your subsidiary.

**Key aspects of the role**:
Headquarters across Germany. **Travel internationally is required for this role.**

**Essential (skills and any certs/language/location etc)**:

- You have successfully completed your studies in computer science, information security or comparable professional training in the IT environment.
- You have many years previous experience working within information security & ISMS implementation.
- You have 5+ years of professional experience in information security and the corresponding security standards (ISO 27001).
- The ability to work in a team and very good communication skills. German and English speaking.

**Desirable**:

- Industry relevant certifications (CISSP).
- Experience working within the public sector is an advantage.
- Experience with team management.
- Additional languages e.g. Spanish, French, Arabic.
