(Junior) Motion Graphics Designer

As a dynamic 20-person team, we work with innovative startups, venture builders, and established brands on their digital growth.
For our innovative and creative Design team, we are looking for a (Junior) Motion Designer, to join the team on a part-time basis (with the possibility to grow into a full-time position).
You will work closely with the Marketing and Creative Teams to design and produce engaging motion graphics for various marketing campaigns that drive growth and customer engagement.
Tasks
- Design and create motion graphics for large brands that will be seen by millions of people
- Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to understand project scope and objectives
- Work with creative briefs to produce storyboards, conceptualise and execute ideas
- Handle post-production tasks, including selecting audio, sound effects, and editing video
- Use visual effects, 2D animation, and other techniques to enhance the visual effectiveness of our campaigns
- Maintain and follow best practices for versioning control, naming conventions, and organization of graphic files
- Keep up-to-date with the latest graphic design trends, techniques, and technologies
**Requirements**:
- You have successfully completed a university degree in Graphic Design, Motion Graphics, or a related field
- You have 1-2 years of professional experience in a similar role, preferably in an agency environment
- You are a proficient user of the Adobe Creative Suite (esp. Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) and are experienced in video editing and post-production
- You have a solid understanding of motion design, graphic design, and digital design, as well as strong knowledge of visual effects and proper timing
- You have a deep understanding of the look and feel of consumer brands while always considering the user who will see your creative
- You love working creatively, bring in your own ideas and have a strong attention for detail
- You have strong communication skills to clearly articulate your concepts to others in English; German is a plus
