Position Description
As a (Junior) Legal & Compliance Specialist, you will become a vital part of Cinemo’s Legal team. You will help ensure that our global business operations remain compliant and secure by contributing legal expertise with a pragmatic and commercial mindset. You are driven, structured, and eager to grow in a technology-driven, international environment.
**In this role, you will**:

- Contract Management

Support the review, drafting, and negotiation of various commercial agreements including software license agreements and vendor contracts. Help ensure effective contract lifecycle management.
- Compliance & Data Protection

Ensure adherence to international laws and regulations, particularly in the areas of data protection (e.g., GDPR), Open Source Software compliance, and export control.
- Intellectual Property

Coordinate intellectual property topics such as trademark and patent registrations in collaboration with external legal counsel.
- Corporate Governance

Assist with corporate governance processes, including support for international subsidiaries. Contribute to the development and maintenance of internal policies and procedures.
- Legal Tech & Innovation

Drive the implementation and optimization of legal technology tools (e.g., contract management systems, e-discovery software) to increase the Legal team's efficiency and scalability.
**What you will need to succeed**:

- Academic background in Law or Business Law, ideally with an international focus
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a competitive, technology-driven sector (e.g., Software, Consumer Electronics, IoT)
- Solid understanding of IP law, data privacy, and corporate governance in an international context
- Basic knowledge of German law is necessary
- Excellent communication, negotiation and collaboration skills
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and a high standard of integrity
- A hands-on and solution-oriented approach, with a structured, methodical way of working
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, knowledge of German language is a plus
