With our global experience, our consulting capabilities, and our leading position as an IT service and solution provider, we support our customers in their digital transformation and in the exploitation of the opportunities presented by digitization. **What you will do**: - Continually research the current and emerging data management paradigms with focus on data mesh, data federation and legacy methodologies and technologies - Defining long-term technology roadmap also in line with Azure or AWS services development - Consulting the customer directly and shaping customer programs on architecture related decisions for data management in public sector and possibly other industries - Consulting C Level clients as a trusted advisor - Defining and governing functional and non-functional requirements for customer programs and standardized DXC offerings - Providing technical guidance for development teams - Assisting development teams with implementation or troubleshooting as required - Representing DXC externally through publications and conference presentations - Provide updates to stakeholders on product development processes, costs and budgets **What you should know**: - University degree in Computer Science at master level or equivalent - Proven work experience as a Data Solution Architect or similar role - Deep understanding of scalable architectural styles and characteristics of a big data platforms and techniques like Data Mesh, Data Federation, Data Virtualization - Proven experience with management of relational/structured, semi - or unstructured data such as video-/audio - or other sensor-data; similarly for designs of co-operative data-platforms and federated data management systems. - Knowledge of IT services in relation to data processing, e.g. Data/metadata management, Workflows, Docker, Kubernetes, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence - Automation and System Integration - Efficient communication skills - Strong organizational and leadership skills - Previous project management experience is advantageous - Fluent German language skills (C2) **What we offer you**: - Flexible working time models and Home-office contract - An attractive salary package - Training and mentoring to support the implementation projects - Being part of a successful, highly co-operative team with proven track record of growing DXCs business - Opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and products in state-of-the-art enterprise environments, providing services to a variety of worldwide customers' infrastructures - Demanding and varied customer projects at one of the world's largest and most successful IT service providers paired with opportunities for rapid advancement and challenging activities with a high degree of freedom and responsibility - Lived values that make us one of the most attractive employers worldwide - Top 25 of Comparably's list of companies with "Best Global Culture 2021" and Top 50 in "Best CEO 2020" ranking - In addition, DXC Technology stands for equal opportunities and offers employees the compatibility of family and work as well as continuous development opportunities
