**Product Architect of Digital Solutions Financial Accounting (M/F/d)**

We are looking for a talented Product Architect of Digital Solutions for Financial Accounting (M/F/d) to design and steer the provisioning of exciting products for the financial accounting function. Join our diverse Architecture and Engineering community and take over responsibility from requirement engineering via design to implementation of data enabled solutions. Take responsibility for the provisioning of high quality data, highly effective financial systems and the collaboration of various parties for a successful enablement of the company to take financial decisions every day. Support the Product Platform Lead Finance with the analysis of business demand and steering of data and financial IT products to drive the digital transformation of finance together with the Digital Leads.

**YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- As Product Architect for Financial Accounting Solution (M/F/d) you are responsible for the backlog quality and provisioning of MVPs, solutions and services
- You are responsible for the workpackage definition, based on your analysis of new functional demand as well as technical requirements to provide valuable IT products for financial decisions with strategic impact for the whole company
- You are responsible, that measures are taken to provide high quality financial data validations every month as well as performant provisioning of features and functionality to prepare the monthly closing
- You coordinate external and internal development teams of data engineers, product or integration architects, and solution engineers and designers by delivering successful MVPs and products as enablement of financial capabilities and services
- You leverage cross-functional potentials for product platforms involving capabilities for modern, cloud based and data-driven product solutions
- Alignment of design activities with the Global data asset leads and Customer Oriented Resilient Enterprise (CORE)
- You stay up to date with technology trends and perform internal knowledge sharing and external collaboration with strategic partners to provide knowledge and capabilities in the team for good product architecture decisions

**WHO YOU ARE**
- University degree in business studies, IT or a comparable field
- You have several years of experience in solution design and engineering, IT project management including risk and dependency management, and the analysis of critical technical debts in complex systems
- You are experienced in managing escalations and address organizational bottlenecks
- Moreover, you have an proven agile mindset and experience with agile methodologies like SCRUM
- You are willing to build up profound process know-how in the field of Financial solutions, Reporting solutions, ProKon (ProKon S92 is the central Group Reporting / Consolidation System of the Group), Delivery of closing relevant data, Distribution of consolidated data
- You have foundational knowhow in software engineering in SAP/ABAP
- Furthermore you are able to manage multidisciplinary teams in complex, global environments
- You have strong analytical and conceptual skills combined with communication, presentation, and storytelling capabilities
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken; German language will be considered a plus

**This position can be filled both full-time and part-time (min. 75%).**
