**_Your Role:_**

As a Buyer at Outokumpu, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the availability of goods and services within defined scopes, contributing to the success of our procurement operations in the Central European region (The Netherlands and Germany). Your responsibilities include validating purchase requisitions, conducting price checks and RFQs, managing purchase orders, and monitoring deliveries. Additionally, you'll collaborate closely with Sourcing Managers to align with regional strategy principles.

**_What We Look For:_**
- Successfully completed commercial training and corresponding professional experience in purchasing
- Basic understanding of procurement and sourcing methods
- Proficiency in SAP, Maximo, or other ERP purchase modules
- Fluent in English and German; knowledge of Dutch is considered an asset
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and experience in machining would be considered as a clear benefit

**_Your Impact:_**

Your individual accountabilities will range from purchase requisitions validation to conducting price checks and RFQs. You'll also play a crucial role in updating master data objects, managing purchase orders, and resolving invoices and claims. Embrace Lean principles to simplify, standardize, or automate P2P tasks, contributing to a more efficient and effective procurement process.

**_Shared Accountabilities:_**

Collaborate with the Master Data team on data management, work with Operations and Finance on invoice resolution, and follow regional strategy principles alongside Sourcing Managers.

**_Location and Reporting:_**

You will be based in one of our sites in Germany, Netherlands (Terneuzen) or Lithuania (Vilnius) and report to Paul Leenders, Head of Spares and Services Central Europe.
