We are looking for a **Business Controller **who is responsible for advising and monitoring the business processes and searching for opportunities for quality/efficiency improvements. You evaluate and interpret financial data and translate this into understandable reports. Accurate accounting is the starting point for this. You support commercial thinking, but you also know how to challenge it when necessary.
**Your responsibilities**
- You will be responsible for the finance and accounting of HiperScan and other German entities
- Advise management on financial matters and support them in strategic decisions
- Coordinate and supervise the various financial activities and formulate and oversee the financial strategy
- Ensure accurate accounting and review of balance sheet items and tax calculations
- Resolving of complex accounting issues
- Reviewing and monitoring the compliance of procedures with Fagron's financial guidelines
- Participate in the annual budget process and the quarterly earnings estimates/adjustments
- Managing the closing and reporting processes in collaboration with management, local accounting and shared service center
- Key Contact person for banks, suppliers, tax consultants, auditors, authorities
- Provative analysis, delivering and communication of results across different departments
- Leading and developing a team of finance professionals
- Transferring the local ERP to a global ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics 365/AX)

**Your Profile**
You have experience in a dynamic environment in which you will fully operational, but also think along at strategic level.
- A degree in business administration, accounting or controlling and at least 3 years of experience in a similar position
- Excellent knowledge of accounting under IFRS and national law
- Advanced knowledge of German corporate and commercial law as well as the regularities of bookkeeping
- Basic knowledge of German tax law and in-depth knowledge of VAT law
- Know-how in cost center and cost unit accounting as well as in license and rental transactions
- Excellent communication skills in German and English
- Expert in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel,...)
- Strong interest in new IT tools in the area of financial analysis and reporting, e.g. Power BI
- Affinity with an innovation-driven organization
- Responsible team player with the ability to work productive, independently, analytically and result-oriented
- Willing to travel in Germany
