Chief Financial Officer

We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Chief Financial Officer to join our team at Wire headquartered in Berlin. As the CFO, you will be responsible for the financial management of our organizations, ensuring long-term liquidity and optimizing our financial ERP-System NetSuite. **Objectives of this role**: You will be joining a Finance Team of seven people, united by a shared vision to build the leading secure collaboration platform in the world. We are passionate about delivering groundbreaking innovation from its unique “message fortress” architecture to 100% open-source software to pioneering the German federation with Messaging Layer Security. Your role will involve a high level of collaboration across the business to ensure smooth financial information transfer. You will be dedicated to preparing yearly financial statements, streamlining our reporting, developing budget proposals, and forecast processes, taking responsibility for all cash management, investments, and financial reporting and helping successfully continue our business forward. Tasks Take responsibility for all commercial topics (accounting, controlling, treasury, corporate finance, tax, financial processes, purchase, VSOP) of Wire Group (seven companies in Germany, Switzerland, USA and Sweden) - Consolidation of all companies according to German GAAP/HGB as well as monthly closing of all companies and consolidated financial reporting (incl. accruals) - Ensuring accuracy of financial reporting of business KPIs (ARR, bookings, FTE, churn, etc.) - Managing the treasury of all companies working in EUR, USD, CHF and SEK - Overseeing optimal financing options for the company and ensuring long-term liquidity by funding (equity, debt, convertibles) - Optimizing and managing the financial ERP-System NetSuite and ongoing improvements in accounting and controlling - Supporting due diligence processes **Requirements**: - 4+ years’ experience in a similar or comparable role. - Experience with raising Series funding, - Solid knowledge of German accounting (P&L, balance sheet) as well as good knowledge of group consolidation - Bachelor's or master's degree in finance or accounting and preferably strong experience in accounting - Good experience with MS Office ERP (NetSuite, SAP, Dynamics) - Familiar with German VAT legislation and the submission of VAT returns - Familiar with financial processes and keeping them at a high-quality level and optimizing continuously - Experience in Budgeting and the whole process around - High level of organizational skills, proactivity, attention to detail and initiative - Very good written and verbal communication skills in English and German **Benefits**: - Join a market-proven ( >1,000 customers) company and be an active driver for Wire to become the worldwide market leader.
