With its service and innovation, Carnival Maritime enables the vessels of the two Costa Group brands, Costa Crociere and AIDA Cruises, to meet the current and future needs of the cruise industry.
**Superintendent Technical Projects & Operational Support for our Cruiseships (f/m/d)**
**Your Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for planning and execution of technical projects on cruise ships in operation and in dry-dock
- Responsible for management of external suppliers and service contractors being involved in the projects regarding time, budget, quality and results
- Responsible to coordinate technical purchaser activities and analyse contractor’s offers; close contracts and ensure contract management.
- Supporting and providing active contribution to develop new technical solutions on ships in the Costa Group, also towards and within Carnival Corporation
- Cooperate with the Fleet Management to support ship operations especially but not limited to the projects executed on board.
**Your Profile**:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, shipbuilding or mechanical engineering with focus on marine industry or cruise industry; master’s degree desirable
- Minimum 1 year of professional experience in the area of ship technology or more than 3 years in the area of ship management and/or yard business
- Knowledge in ship design and/or ship operation preferred
- Very good English language skills (English is our company language.)
- Deep knowledge of Office 365 system (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint)
- Structured and organized way of working as well as good time management in a project driven working surrounding with ability to think and plan strategically ahead
- Service oriented with good communication skills
