**This is what you can do**:
As part of our Flight Physics Team you are responsible for the aircraft layout and system architecture studies for research and technology programs. You support activities of internal and external project partners and will report to the Head of Flight Physics.
Your responsibilities in this role include:
- Aircraft Architecture optimisation transverse the other flight physics disciplines (Aerodynamics,Handling Qualities, Loads, Aeroelastics, Performance, Weight & Balance, Acoustics)
- Responsibility for aerodynamic configuration for current and future aircraft
- Communication of lessons learned and best practice with the Aircraft Architect Team and the complete Engineering team
- Knowledge capturing and dissemination, techno watch and patent/intellectual properties processes
- Support verification and validation process for all flight physics requirements
- Responsible for certification planning and compliance matrix for flight physics
- Review and approval of compliance documents and reports
**You’ll bring this with you**:
- Educated Engineering degree (Masters degree or equivalent) in Aerospace or Aeronautics
- 10+ years relevant experience in aircraft development from inception to certification
- 5+ years relevant experience in flight physics
- Previous experience as a CVE highly valued
- Structured and result orientated with strong team spirit
- Fluent in English
