Key responsibilities:

- As Director of Procurement Transformation, you’ll lead digital transformation projects within our Global Procurement team, advancing both operational and tactical procurement initiatives. You’ll be the visionary behind our transformation efforts, ensuring our processes are future-ready, efficient, and aligned with Fresenius Kabi’s mission of “Committed to Life.” Collaborating closely with top and middle management, you’ll drive projects that introduce cutting-edge procurement solutions, optimize systems, and support stakeholders in adopting these advancements, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- **Lead Strategic Transformation**: Spearhead digital transformation projects, focusing on enhancing operational and tactical procurement efficiency
- **Team Leadership**: Guide a team of up to 5 dedicated project resources, setting a high standard for project execution and delivery
- **Stakeholder Collaboration**: Partner with executive leadership and key department heads to align project goals with organizational objectives, fostering a cohesive vision for change
- **Stakeholder Engagement**: Drive adoption and engagement by supporting stakeholders through system changes, helping build commitment and ease transitions
- **Project Management Excellence**: Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement proactive mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes
- **Innovation Champion**: Foster an environment of innovation within the team, encouraging new approaches and continuous improvement

Who you are
- We’re looking for a dynamic, visionary leader who combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You thrive in fast-paced environments, are resilient in the face of change, and have a proven track record in driving digital transformation in procurement or related functions.
- **Educational Background**: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred
- **Experience**: Extensive experience leading digital transformation projects, ideally within procurement, with a strong understanding of SAP Ariba or similar procurement tools
- **Project Management**: Exceptional skills in project management, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
- **Change Management**: Skilled in change management and stakeholder engagement, with an empathetic approach to guiding others through transformation
- **Communication Skills**: Outstanding communicator with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- **Problem-Solver**: Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex challenges with innovative solutions
- **Certifications**: Project Management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are a plus
