**Department description / job purpose / role**

Group Accounting & Reporting (GAR) provides reliable, qualitative financial information to management, investors, analysts and the public in general through external reporting of Allianz SE and Allianz Group. GAR collects and consolidates the accounts submitted by all Group companies every month. Members of GAR ensure the adherence to the highest quality standards in accounting and financial reporting to support Allianz's reputation as a top-tier global financial institution.

**Key responsibilities**

For our Closing Management Team we seek a (Senior) Expert Accounting (M/F/d).

In particular, you will:

- participate in the preparation of the consolidated financial statements of Allianz Group under IFRS and the Solvency II reporting requirements
- collaborate closely with our international subsidiaries and guide the local accounting departments on IFRS, consolidation and Solvency II topics
- support project streams for the Group-wide implementation of new standards
- support the Group implementation of IFRS 9/17 (reporting of figures in parallel runs as well as standardization and automation of processes)
- collaborate with internal departments like Investor Relations, Controlling, Risk and external auditors

**Qualification**
- Excellent University degree in accounting, economics or a related field
- Fluent in English (written and spoken), German

**Experience & Key skills**
- International (IFRS) accounting knowledge, Solvency II and IFRS 9/17 knowledge a plus
- Very good analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Result orientation and the capability to work under time pressure and manage deadlines
- Open-minded team player, proactive and organized, capable of prioritizing workload
- Experience in a group accounting function or big four company is a plus
