We are looking for a **Head of Marketing (M/F/d) Rare & Epilepsy** to lead our marketing team in our German affiliate organization **in Monheim am Rhein**, Germany and this is a role with the opportunity to make a significant impact.

**About the role**

You are accountable for the cross-functional development and execution of the strategy of all rare and epilepsy assets within Germany by leading directly the marketing team and partnering with cross-functional teams. The role incumbent provides marketing expertise to the cross-functional Rare & Epilepsy Team across all relevant communication channels. The role incumbent is directly responsible for Asset & Launch Strategy Leads and Manager, Marketing Solution Leads and Trainees (Digital Projects, Marketing Solutions etc.).

**What you´ll do**
- ** Leadership & Coaching**: Development of the Rare & Epilepsy Marketing Team towards a high-performing team with cross-functionally (medical, sales, access, patient engagement) aligned role expectations and capabilities
- ** Strategic Leadership**: Co-created commercial strategy and implementation according to stakeholder needs
- ** Omnichannel marketing excellence in rare**: Focus on improving customer journeys in rare (starting at diagnosis)
- Accountable for the development and successful management of an annual asset budget; collaborate with the functional leadership to ensure financial objectives are met and resources reassigned if required
- Drive the digital business transformation in your cluster while integrating digital/non digital solutions, looking always for innovation and maximum patient value
- Active collaboration with local safety staff to ensure a pharmacovigilance compliance for those activities that require involvement, guidance and support

**Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience and skills**:

- Master's degree required/ Science or MBA preferred. Rare diseases or neurology experience (added value)
- Proven track record of direct and indirect leadership, launch experience and partnering with medical, access, sales and patient engagement
- Effective communicator and strategic executor
- Fluent in English and German
- Some knowledge of appropriate regulatory and access guidelines
- Demonstrated strength in business planning, tactical plan development and execution
