**About Our Client**: Our client is a leading German payment company, renowned for their exceptional customer service and focus on small to medium-sized businesses.
**Position Overview**: Our client is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Vice President of Sales to lead their sales efforts in the DACH and Nordic regions. Reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), the VP of Sales will play a crucial role in driving new business growth, expanding market share, and leading a growing team of sales professionals. This role requires a hands-on leader who is customer-obsessed, pragmatic, and capable of bringing fresh perspectives to the team.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve growth targets in the DACH and Nordic regions.
- Lead and manage a team of 20+ sales and account management professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Drive new business acquisition, focusing on selling our client's gateway and acquiring suite, including BNPL solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes to inform strategic decisions.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences, enhancing brand visibility and market presence.
**Requirements**:
- ~+7 years of experience in a senior sales leadership role, preferably within the payments industry or SaaS.
- Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
- Familiarity with the DACH and Nordic markets is highly desirable.
- An existing network in E-commerce is a big plus.
- Willingness to travel as required.
