This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, science-driven environment as a Working Student in our Medical Affairs team. You’ll directly support Moderna’s mission of advancing mRNA-based medicines by helping execute critical scientific and medical activities. From crafting scientific content to supporting cross-functional collaboration, you will help shape how scientific insights are communicated, ensuring scientific excellence and impact.

As part of our team in Munich, you will be immersed in cutting-edge biotechnology projects, receive exposure to cross-departmental initiatives, and have the chance to work at the intersection of innovation, medicine, and communication. You’ll also gain valuable insight into the development and positioning of medical materials, and stay current on trends across immunology, infectious diseases, and vaccines.

**What You’ll Do**

**Your key responsibilities will be**:

- Supporting the planning, coordination, and documentation of medical and scientific events such as advisory boards, congresses, and education initiatives
- Conducting in-depth literature research on immunology, infectious diseases, and other relevant topics
- Assisting in the preparation and summarization of scientific materials for both internal stakeholders and external audiences

**Your responsibilities will also include**:

- Contributing to the review and localization of scientific and medical content in accordance with internal and regulatory compliance
- Supporting collaboration between Medical Affairs and other internal departments including Marketing, Market Access, and Regulatory Affairs
- Monitoring publications, clinical guidelines, and evolving trends in the field of vaccines and mRNA science
- Participating in team meetings and managing various administrative and coordination tasks

**What You’ll Need**
- Enrolled student in life sciences, medicine, pharmacy, public health, or a related field
- Strong interest in medical affairs, immunology, and innovative healthcare solutions
- Excellent research and analytical skills, attention to detail
- Good understanding of scientific literature and the ability to communicate complex information clearly
- Proficient in MS Office (especially PowerPoint and Excel)
- Fluency in English; German is a plus
- Proactive, structured, and a team player
