**Your Job**:
Your tasks:

- Support us in preparing samples and performing confocal microscopy
- Data-analytics using the programming language R or Python to study the role of various physical parameters such as adsorption, bridging and depletion on the aggregation and deformation of RBCs

Your responsibilities include:

- Preparation of samples containing blood and urine
- Perform confocal microscopy experiments with fluorescent dyes
- Scripting to count RBCs and study membrane deformation properties
- Data analytics using R or Python
- Planning, implementation and evaluation of experiments
- Presentation of results

**Your Profile**:

- Ongoing Master studies in chemistry, physics, biology, biochemistry, biophysics or related fields
- Experience with working with a microscope
- Good skills in English (intermediate level and above) for communication as well as for thesis drafting
- Experience with programming languages (preferably R or Python)
- Being motivated to familiarize yourself with new techniques and software packages
- Efficiency, accurate work, enjoyment of teamwork and a high level of self-motivation in establishing new experimental procedures as well as solving scientific problems
