**INEOS Automotive - Grenadier - Built On Purpose**

**Your Role**: The **Functional Safety Lead **will be responsible for supporting the implementation of functional safety measures at project level in accordance with ISO 26262 and functional safety processes (e.g. technical safety concept) for both On-Road and Off-Road Vehicles from concept to launch.

**Responsibilities include (but are not limited to)**:

- View any legal restrictions versus predecessor’s vehicles; working with partners internationally - specifically but not limited to Europe, America and Middle East.
- Data and documentation management; quality, safety management; a close working relationship with the Engineering Manager, Production, and Commercial team.
- Implement functional safety measures at project level in accordance with ISO 26262.
- Work with vehicle program teams to implement functional safety.
- Supporting the project teams in functional safety for vehicle systems (embedded software, hardware and mechanics) in the development process (ISO26262).
- Implementation and evaluation of safety analysis (FMEA, FTA, FMEDA, CPA, FFI, DFA).
- Participation in tool classification and qualification /Participation and support in Safety Assessments /Active participation in hardware and software design.
- Participation in test specifications as well as evaluation of the test results.
- Verification of security design and implementation of test specification.
- Report non-conforming regulatory issues to Senior Management

**For the Functional Safety Lead, we are looking for**:

- Strong technical undergraduate degree in automotive engineering, electrical or mechanical engineering.
- Functional Safety Development acc. ISO 26262, as well as in A-SPICE automotive development.
- Very good knowledge of safety analysis (FMEA, FMEDA, FTA, CPA, FFI, DFA).
- Significant experience in automotive Functional Safety Development acc. ISO 26262, as well as in A-SPICE automotive development.
- Experience with SOTIF is Safety Of The Intended Functionality — ISO/PAS 21448
- Strong time management, planning, integrity, and teambuilding skills.
- Able to communicate (written and verbally) in English (German, French and/or Portuguese is advantageous)
