**ABOUT THE JOB**
Are you looking to jumpstart your career in HR and would like to gain practical HR Operations experience in the Global Tech Organisation? Are you passionate about creating great employee experiences, enjoy working with data and have good attention to detail? If you have answered yes to these questions, then come and join our team as a working student - People Operations Assistant - in Berlin
You will have an opportunity to partner with other support teams and employees across Europe and North America and get involved in core HR activities.
**YOUR ROLE**
- Become an expert in supporting employee lifecycle activities and processes, such as onboarding, offboarding, role changes, absences, and benefits
- Use Jira (our ticketing tool) to assist our employees and answer their day-to-day queries
- Support in preparation and filing of HR documents and updating employee data in our HRIS - Workday
- Be People content and knowledge champion - identify gaps and propose content (employee-facing information) and knowledge (Team's internal information) updates
- With guidance, support various People Operations projects and initiatives
**YOUR PROFILE**
- You are currently enrolled at a college/university and can work for us up to 20h/week
- You have an ambition to start your career in Human Resources
- You communicate fluently in English and German
- You are tech savvy and enjoy using and learning new technology and tools such as Google Suite, MS Office, Workday, Jira
- You enjoy both attention to detail and understanding a bigger picture in your daily work
